Carmen Haberman

Carmen Haberman – An active community volunteer and board member in arts and social service organizations during 40 years of residing in Milwaukee Ms. Haberman has been a Program Manager at the Richard and Ethel Herzfeld Foundation Since 2002. The Foundation focuses grants primarily in the area of Arts and Culture, Education and some special civic projects. Responsibilities include administration, grant recommendations and analysis, research and community outreach.

From 1981–2001 Carmen was the Senior Director of Development for the Milwaukee Art Museum. Her responsibilities included all aspects of Development, Visitors Services, Institutional Strategic planning and implementation for major Capital Campaign for the Calatrava expansion. During her tenure at the Art Museum Carmen was active in National, Regional and local professional museum and development associations.

Prior to joining the Art Museum, Ms. Haberman was the Director of the Centennial Hall Campaign for Milwaukee Public Library and held marketing positions in retail and advertising firms.
