Robert L Young
Robert L. Young sits on numerous non-profit boards in the Greater Milwaukee area. He is a strong proponent of diversity for non-profit and for-profit boards as well as for businesses and organizations in communities throughout our country. By bringing his creative, business sense and passion for social justice to these boards, as well as his battle-tested track record in business, he is helping organizations reach their goals and objectives. More importantly, his presence and conviction is moving us to an understanding that diversity is an untapped strength that lies within our communities and businesses and when embraced will provide us all a higher return on our investments.
Robert is currently employed at AT&T Wisconsin as their Director of External Affairs, responsible for managing key corporate initiatives and issues within local communities and governments that impact AT&T. External Affairs is responsible for driving effective stakeholder support and advocacy from third parties in support of the AT&T brand and corporate message.
Robert has a marketing background and started his career with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) medical company. He has held numerous senior level management positions with P&L responsibilities within the medical and technology industry.
Robert received his undergraduate from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Central Michigan University. He is also a former US Army officer, Airborne Infantry.
